Who we are?

Playturnal (Playturnal, “We”, “us”) is a product of Playturnal LLC. We are currently based in Los Angeles, California. We are a photo-based sharing application. This privacy policy has been prepared to clarify how we gather, utilize, disclose and protect your personal information. Any information that you provide to Playturnal is subject to our privacy policy as outlined below, which governs our collection and use of your information. This policy was last revised on March 31, 2025 and we reserve the right to change these policies without notification or warning.

You understand that through your use of the services you consent to the collection and use (as set forth in the privacy policy) of this information, including the transfer of this information to the United States and/or other countries for storage, processing, and use by Playturnal. As part of providing you the services, we may need to provide you with certain communications, such as service announcements and administrative messages. These communications are considered part of the services and your Playturnal account, which you may not be able to opt-out from receiving. This Privacy Policy pertains only to Playturnal website, Apps and service, and any third-party applications have their own separate privacy policy that you will be responsible for to read and understand.

1) Information we collect

When registering for Playturnal, you are required to provide us your username, first and last name, email address, and password. In your profile page you have the option to provide additional information about yourself such as location, phone, profile photo, bio, quote. You’ll also provide us whatever information you send through the services such as photos taken within the app, captions to that photo, comments on user posts. This information is not mandatory for you to continue to use Playturnal and may be edited by you at any time.

Playturnal will also be able to automatically collect the following information based on your use of the platform:

• The internet protocol (IP) address for logged in users.
• Specific actions that you are performing on the platform such as pages you visit, posting or sharing content, following another user, posts you like.
• Time, frequency, and duration spent on the Platform.
• The device, browser type and operating system from which you are accessing the platform.
• Your location.
• Information such as log data collected through cookies and similar technology.
• Interaction with email messages.

2) How we use your information

In addition to some of the specific uses of information we describe in this Privacy Policy, we may use information that we receive to:

• Help you efficiently access your information after you sign in
• Remember information so you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the service.
• Provide personalized content and information to you and others which could include online ads or other forms of marketing.
• Provide, improve, test and monitor the effectiveness of our service and protect our products and services.
• Develop, operate, deliver, maintain, and test new products and features.
• Monitor metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns.
• To be in communication with you, including by email. We may use email to respond to support inquiries or to share information about our products, services, and promotional offers that we think may interest you.
• Diagnose or fix technology problems.
• Enhance the safety and security of our products and services.
• Verify your identity and prevent fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity.
• Automatically update the Playturnal application on your device
• Enforce our terms of service.

3) Sharing of your information

We may share your personal information with third parties including as follows:

• With your consent, for example when you agree to sharing your information with other third parties for their own marketing purposes subject to their separate privacy policies.
• With third party vendors, consultants and other service providers who work for us and need access to your information to do that work.
• To comply with laws or to respond to lawful requests and legal process, to protect the rights and property of Playturnal, our agents, customers, members, and others including to enforce our agreements, policies and terms of service or in an emergency to protect the personal safety of Playturnal, its customers, or any person.
• In connection with or during negotiation of any merger or acquisition. If Playturnal LLC gets involved in a merger, asset sale, financing, acquisition, or dissolution transaction or proceeding involving sale, transfer, bankruptcy, or disclosure of all or a portion of our business or assets to another company, we may share your information with that company before and after the transaction closes.

We may also share with third parties such as advertisers, aggregated, non-personally identifiable, or de-identified information.

You are aware you are on a public communication platform and any information you post will be visible to other users on Playturnal. Adjust your privacy setting with each post to limit who you will allow to comment, like, and view each post.

4) Our policy towards children

Our services are not directed to persons under 13 years of age. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account. Minors age 13 and older should seek permission from their parents to use the application.

5) Data Security

Playturnal takes reasonable steps to help protect your personal information in an effort to prevent loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. There are a number of risks in transmitting any kind of data over the public internet and under no circumstances should you use the Playturnal service to transmit confidential or privileged information of any sort.

6) How long we keep your content

Playturnal lets you capture more of what you love. All your posts are stored and tied to your unique profile. They will stay indefinitely until you the user deletes them from your account or you/they do not abide by our terms of service agreement and are otherwise deleted. After we detect a post has been deleted by you the user we automatically delete the content of your post from our servers. Please note that other users may have saved your posts that you provided before you got the chance to delete them using any number of techniques such as screenshots, or any other image-capture technology. Keep in mind that, while our systems are designed to carry out deletion practices automatically, we cannot promise that deletion will occur in a specific timeframe. And we may need to suspend those deletion practices if we receive valid legal process asking us to preserve content or if we receive reports of abuse or other Terms of Service violations. We may also retain certain information in backup for a limited period of time or as required by law.

Compliance with Laws and enforcement

Playturnal cooperates with and assists all government and law enforcement officials to enforce and abide by the law. Consequently, we may disclose any information or data available if we believe it is reasonably necessary to: (a) satisfy any and all applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests; (b) enforce the terms of service, including investigation of potential violations thereof; (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of Playturnal, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.
